Fax Broadcasting Overview & Screenshots

The Fax Broadcasting / Bulk Faxing application is part of the VBC package. VBC centralises your business applications and makes it possible for any company or individual to connect to it resources from anywhere in the world with any PC that has a live internet connection.

Fax Broadcasting - Login

To login go to the "VBC User Porthole". Enter your username and password. Your username is usually your 086 fax2email number. If you forgot your password – click on “forgot password” and follow the steps. If you are an active user you would be prompted to key in the onscreen security image.

Bulk Fax User Interface

After login navigate to the left side bar, select “Connect” and click on PC2Fax. In the PC2Fax user interface look for the link “Create Bulk Fax” at the top of the page. In the Bulk Fax interface you have the option to upload a .XLS file that contains all your fax marketing numbers. You can upload as may files/lists as you want – one for every campaign. After your upload select the “Create a Fax” link.

Creating & Sending a Bulk Fax

You have 2 option to create a bulk fax. Your 1st option is to create a fax on your pc and send it to one of your contacts to get it on the VBC system. Once it is on the system you can bulk forward it to all your contact. You also have the option to create a “smart” or dynamic fax. Dynamic faxes are uploaded in html format. Utilising the data from your .xml fax list the dynamic bulk fax can use data from the fax list and automatically populate fields in the bulk fax. Now you can personalise your bulk fax and address it specific people and/or companies.

Bulk Fax Status & Tracking

On login you would be presented with a list of fax transactions. In the log you will be able to see the destination the fax was sent to, the date it was sent and the cost. You also have the option to drill down deeper and view the extended data of the fax. The expanded data include: transaction status, number of pages that was sent and the option to bulk forward that specific fax.
